"It's been incredible. — everything is so bright," and the wonder in his voice is real. 

"I'm from New Orleans," he says, and grabs onto a tree branch to swing from it, "it's nice to see my home city from a stranger's eyes."

"I've been living here for a few months, I'm not sure I'd say stranger. But I still get overwhelmed sometimes by how much of it there is." 

"My favorite day of the year," he says. "I always make sure to come back for it."

"It's incredible. — of course, the extremely handsome shirtless men don't hurt, or anything." 

He flips over the tree branch so he's hanging from it by his legs; his necklace dangles. "Gosh, do you see one?"

"I do!" 

This is a slightly awkward angle to kiss at but it's whatever. 

He flips off the branch and pushes Sasha up against the tree and kisses him.

Is that better?

That's much better. 

He sighs into the man's mouth and relaxes into his hands. 

He pushes up Sasha's skirt and starts touching the inside of his thighs.

Sasha takes his hands and moves them farther away from things he does not want this man to find out about and keeps kissing him. 

He wraps Sasha's legs around his waist and starts touching Sasha's back and kisses him for a long time.

Oh, that's excellent. 

The man is good at kissing, knows just how to move — 

Eventually he says, "I promised you a drink."

"So you did," a little bit breathless. 

He scoops up Sasha in his arms. "Let's go get it."

Oh fuck having someone be able to carry him that casually feels good. He makes a soft affirmative noise and curls up in the man's arms and holds onto his neck. 

"Know what you want?" he asks when they get to a bar.

"No idea," he admits. 

"Hurricane cocktail. --It's sweet."

"Sweet is good, I'll try that." 

It is in fact very sweet, and comes with some cherries and a slice of orange and a festive-looking umbrella.

It's good. 

He should be in the man's lap. Why is he not there already. 

Mm. That's a good decision.

He runs his hands along Sasha's collarbone and down his chest.

Mmm that's nice. Sasha curls up in his lap and puts his head on the man's shoulder and makes a happy noise and lets him continue.
