What if instead of saying anything he is paralyzed in terror.

"We have anonymous sex rather a lot."

"Twice in how many months now isn't that much."

He pauses, thinks about it, and says "I guess in Auradon you've got more strangers to pick from, fair enough." 

"Tempted to see how many times I'll end up accidentally seducing you."

The concept that Asher might be attracted to him is terrifying.

"So am I, a little." 

He cuddles up to Kaleva. 

His boyfriend is very good and makes this whole situation slightly less terrifying.

"But if I did I'd be denying myself the pleasure of your company, pretty girl."

"I didn't say I thought we should." 

Kaleva has an excellent shoulder and Sasha is going to smoosh his face into it. 

He clutches Sasha like Sasha is a liferaft.

"Well, then, what should we do?"

"First of all you should actually give me your number, not just say you're going to and then not." 

He hugs Kaleva back. 

"You have it, you're a VK."

He hands Asher his phone, doesn't let go of Kaleva. "Put it in under your name anyway." 

He does!

He maintains that Asher should not have expected him to guess who that was the first time. "Thank you. And now I should talk to my boyfriend in private." 

"Cool. Text me when you're done."

"Will do," and he stands up and takes Kaleva's hand and tugs him homeward. 

He is noticeably more relaxed when Asher leaves.

"You're my people."

"And you're my people. And Asher — isn't my people, but he maybe could be?" 

"Gangs have more than one person on the Isle?"

"There are two-person gangs, but yeah, almost always. My old gang had five." 

He squeezes Kaleva's hand.
