"There's subtle arts for sleep. There could totally be subtle arts for overheating!"

"If there were subtle arts for overheating it'd probably be a pyrokinesis thing, and I don't have any pyrokinesis. And you said 'she's a therapist', not 'she's a subtle artist'."

"Do I need to worry that you'll run off somewhere that's dangerous even if you do know how to teleport?" Boots asks. "There are places like that; teleporting only helps if you see something coming."

"There's way too much to learn to go explore new places yet! But I should get made indestructible. Or be a demon."

"Getting made indestructible is a good idea, but we don't know for sure if indestructibility's fully general against weird kinds of danger, and even some of the explored places are dangerous - the world between Stork and Luster, say."

"If I go anywhere dangerous I will be invisible and indestructible! And if I die you can make another space me!"
