"She isn't, yeah."

"It's really not your fault. I'm the one who'd actually be familiar with what's Earth like, and I would've been able to predict something like this happening if I thought for even a single second before acting upon the first idea that popped into my head."

"A-and it's really good that Eva taught you about consent>"

"Not thinking about whether Eva wanted us to have sex, or even if she'd be okay with it was definitely the first major mistake I made today."

And the zeroth was thinking you could actually make a friend.

"She'll be back. Right now I think she is sulking but I know she's going to want the Earth food. I can give it to her with an apology?"

A flash of hope at the thought of Eva coming back.

"That's a r-really g-good idea!" She'll rummage through her bag and take out the takeout bag and gives it to Summer.

"This has the food I got for Eva!" (And also the food she got for herself, but Phee did not think of that.)

Then rummaging some more and handing a different box to Summer. "This has some papers I said I'd get her, you should hand them over too with the food!"

Summer smiles. "I'll get them to her. How should I find you if I meet her again?"

You don't.

"I could show you where I arrived from Earth and be sure be back there at some pre-decided time- " every day "tomorrow and if I don't see you again, show back up again in the same place in a week?"

"Okay. Let's try for noon? Eva should be back by then, her sulks don't last much more than a day usually."

“Sure that works!”

“Um at what time exactly is noon at?”

"... When the sun is highest in the sky? Eva has an off-world time-keeping device but I do not know what it says."

She probably should’ve expected the answer would be something like that.

She’ll make a perception check to locate the sun.

By which she means looking confusedly at the sky, trying to figure out whether it looks like the sun is already past it’s highest possible point, or some time before it.

It looks like the sun is starting to set. That direction's west, right?

Bold of you to assume she knows the relationship between west/east and where the sun sets!

So assuming that the sun is setting because it feels like the day is ending, it should be rising in half a day and presumably would be halfway through the sky after another of a day, so evening would presumably be in 18 hours the?

After a definitely reasonable amount of time spent thinking, Phee responds with.

“Thanks for the answer, i’ll try to be back her- I mean at where I exited the bridge by that time tomorrow!”

"Alright. See you."

Summer gives Phee a small smile, waves, and ducks back into the stockroom.

Phee will smile and wave back!

”See you!" And walks back to where the bridge was.

And worries.
