"If there are things that mutants definitely can't do we never had time to discover them--things the X-Gene can cause include  telepathy and control of magnetism and blue skin and shapeshifting and being covered in red fur and teleporting and firing plasma beams and telekinesis and being indestructible and weather control and white hair and green hair and green skin and blue hair and prehensile feet and turning into a diamond and--and--" and she breaks down crying.

And downstairs he says to the crying Edie-alt, "Bar can recommend drinks."

I don't know if any of the people whose abilities I was listing are alive. If any are it's not many."

"I'm sorry. We're going to find a world with resurrection powers eventually, you can always stay here 'till then."

"Oh, I'm not going back through that door. Not until I can be confident it's not suicide."

"I mean, that we could fix for you much faster, I bet Edie'd fork a few more of Ada and Amelia for you and they could probably go take over your world pretty fast - demons and angels have really scary powers, an angel could just turn all the Sentinels into air..."
