The next day, as with every day, students must attend homeroom.
And then tryouts are over.
Matt has to shower, first, so Juliet will have to keep herself occupied until then.
There's nothing of note, really. Awkward fumbling, victorious pride, and...a lens flare, at what might be human eye level, just beyond the treeline.
...
Juliet stands up and walks a bit closer to the tree line, searching.
Those are definitely yellow eyes.
They start moving away from her as soon as she moves closer.
.... she thinks of Matt and absolutely does not chase him down and slice his hamstrings.
In which case, Matt will approach cautiously.
"Juliet? Everything alright?"
It'll take them a while. The Boarding House is right on the edge of town.
...Matt will take a moment to wish he could drive, but they can hold hands.
And eventually they arrive! It's very big. And grand and rich and really over the top.
Juliet stops on the road. And stares.
"The family built it after the original Salvatore Estate burned down in 1903."
She pauses and listens. And then blinks, confused.
"Nobody is home?"
