Oh, uh, hm. Probably she wants to limit it to things that happen automatically, and that are obviously magic craziness? How about Angelic Tones, Emerald Orbs, and Mood Ring. There. Now she is well and truly done with power selection.

As for her notebook's request...

I feel like it ought to be mythological but I suddenly can't remember any myths...

Are there myths about books? Pandora? No. Athena? No. Runes are supposed to be magic but that doesn't help her any. Do the occultists have anything? There are... Hermetics? Is that from the word hermit, or... never mind.

How about knowledge? Prometheus... fits thematically, but is a pretty bad name for a notebook. (Promethea? Prom? No.) ...Eve? Satan? Lucifer? Lilith?

I'm often named after a flower or a shade of purple, if that helps inspire you any, but I also like new and different names that reflect something about my new friend's interests!

Narcissus! No. Persephone? Or Lilith could be shortened...

What do you think of Persephone, or Lilith? Persephone is the goddess of spring. Lilith is a witch, or maybe a patron of witches, I can't remember. That isn't a flower, but can be shortened to Lily, which is.

Lilith sounds very interesting. (And Lily is a pretty way to shorten it!)

She should name herself again, too. Zachary simply isn't going to cut it where she's going.

She closes her eyes and thinks, and thinks, and thinks, and thinks, and thinks. It's hard to decide. There are a lot of good options, and no truly great ones. Maybe she can pile them all up and test them out one at a time.
