The tower is the immensely tall cable stretching up into the sky and out of view they've been circling around. When they get closer, they can see the base is a circular bunker-type building with four entrances, one at each quadrant. No living guards, but there are turret emplacements.

"With the substations under our control, they won't be able to call for help. The energy sheath they use to protect the elevator will disrupt long-range communication. Stealth is no longer a primary concern, but we must prevent anyone from leaving and act quickly to lift any security lockdown they initiate."

"I suppose that makes your operations team the hammer and us the anvil."

"Quite."

Vincoria nods, and looks at Soph. “Internals recon?”

She shakes her head.

Vincoria frowns. “Not ideal. Still, we work with what we have.”

Soph efficiently checks her blaster’s heatsink and charge pack, ensuring it’s in good working order: then she unclips her lightsaber, holding it low near her opposite side, half-concealed by her body.

Vincoria draws her own lightsabers.

“Soph, confirm my tactical assessment: the west side of the tower has the least cover, so Occlus and I should take the northeast and southeast quadrants. Escapees fleeing the Hammer force and unwilling to face two full Sith will be forced out into a killbox where you can keep them pinned with blaster fire. In the event that they mass for a coordinated rush, lightsaber and teekay work should suffice to break them.”

“More than sufficient to ensure no escapees, but not to break lockdown. We can’t leave that up to the Hammer force. Chrono... under five. Hardened shortrange comms won’t be sufficient to ensure visuals on all stragglers, so Occlus should deal with escapees as the Sith with the best sensing. You and I will advance into the tower and clear room-by-room: my technical expertise is more valuable inside dealing with security measures than outside spotting for Occlus.”

She looks to Occlus. “Acceptable, Lord?”

"Quite adequate." She settles to the ground in a meditative posture. "Would you like my aid in disabling the turrets when you begin your assault?"

“Appreciated, but not strictly necessary.”

"Very well." She closes her eyes a moment, and when she reopens them, they are glowing purple. Four spectral figures blur out of her, features indistinct but not identical. Her eyes flash brighter, and the figures stand and begin moving. One takes position close by while the others circle around. They are eerily silent and strangely jerky as they move, as if poorly animated.

"On your mark, then."

“- Now.”

The Sith and her apprentice dash out as one into the open space, Vincoria driving a spike of force into the closest turret as she bursts from cover. In the next breath, her saber flicks on, raised before her diagonally as a ward against blasterfire.

Lightning arcs out from four directions, blasting the remaining outside turrets to bits.

No further turrets appear, leaving only the doors as an obstacle.

Vincoria shatters a hinge -

- and Soph’s Force shove flings the weakened door into the hallway behind.

Vincoria’s only moments behind, flung feet-first on the same wave of force. The door only shields her for an instant, but it’s long enough for her to throw out her senses -

Danger incoming high, clear zone low. Multiple sources of hostile intent approaching, at least five.

An alarm begins blaring.

Fortunately for her, she's already smaller and lighter than most: a kick of Force out above and behind her, and she skids rapidly across the bunker floor. The metal edge of the door clips her shoulder (irrelevant) - danger close twist plant foot up through over up - threat down - left sidestep - Soph's - cut -

The turrets that unfolded from the ceiling to spit their fire at what would be head height for most adult species miss their aim completely. The squad of mercenaries appearing at the end of the corner hesitates for a second, adjusting to the sight of the child-sized invader.

It goes just as the Force had shown her.

Her heel catches in an imperfection in the concrete, and she flips up, the shock jarring her leg as she turns her slide into a headlong vault - a single blaster bolt caught on her shoto in the moment her full profile's exposed, a single mercenary with the experience to know danger even in a child's body - damn this waste of good people - she cuts him in half with the first stroke of her saber, and then she's among them. No clear sightlines for blasters, close quarters with a Sith - she sidesteps left, and lets a blaster bolt meant for her kill a second one. That one has a bead on her, but that's fine: Soph's own blaster bolt puts her down before she can squeeze the trigger. A long sweep of her Shoto puts another two out of the fight - it's all but over.

She catches the last one with a lunging thrust as he tries to run.

Idiot, Sith are faster than you. The smart play would have been to keep trying. You might have gotten lucky.

Balling Force around her free hand, she advances down the corridor.

The whines of dying machinery and dying men behind her tell her that her apprentice is keeping up with cleanup duty.

The alarm is still going off. A console set into the wall around the corner is flashing the alert.
