"Which are above my clearance?"

"Which are, as yet, unclear to me."

Soph doesn't sigh. But Occlus feels a definite pulse in her Force presence.

Vincoria gives her apprentice a Look. It says "we've had this conversation."

Soph nods.

"In that case, I see no major issues with the plan as it stands."

"Then we proceed. Do we have schematics for the hooks?"

"Yes, my lord," says Niar, fiddling with the projector. "One moment. There."

"Our biggest obstacle is the three groundside substations." Hanthor indicates them. "If they're not neutralized before we take the space dock, they'll sound the alert."

Soph nods.

"Bombardment would defeat the purpose, and jamming can't be assumed to hold while we perform insertion. What assets do we have on the ground already?"

Niar shakes her head regretfully. "Very little, I'm afraid. Nothing equipped or trained to handle this sort of assault."

"Then it seems we need to find a way onto the planet in order to find a way onto the planet."

"Nadrin, have the engineers made any progress on the ionic shielding?"

<Ah, yes, my lord,> he says carefully. <We have prepared an Eth-class shuttle with a prototype that should improve the survival rate by a factor of three.>

"That's still not very good odds," points out Hanthor. "And the Eth-class will fit five people, at most."

"It will be enough, Captain. I will make up the difference myself. Darth Vincoria and her apprentice will accompany us to the surface."

... Perhaps not the plan she would have chosen. But it has the advantage of speed.

Vincoria nods.

Soph shrugs mentally. She's in the service of Sith Lords: low odds of survival are par for the course.

"I'll have the shuttle prepared, my lord," says Niar.

Occlus nods.

"Captain, have your men ready to board as soon as I send the signal. Niar, you and Nadrin will continue working on ways to narrow down the location of the stockpile. I expect results when next we meet."

There is a chorus of variants on the theme of 'yes, my lord'.

"Dismissed."

To the ship, then.

To the ship. It is, as advertised, quite small. But with only the pilot, Occlus, and Vincoria and her apprentice aboard, it does not quite reach the level of 'cramped'. One brief hyperspace hop later, and they can begin their landing.

Occlus meditates in the center of the ship, stretching her awareness out and around, bending the swirling currents of volatile atmospheric energy away from the ship, creating a safe corridor for them to descend through. Ghostly purple aura flares flicker across her body.

As Occlus sweeps aside the most vicious and destructive of the currents, Vincoria attends to the remnants.

Soph waits.

The little ship shakes more than normal, but no vital components break. They manage a landing near the edge of the target mesa, safely out of sight.

Rising from her trance, Occlus bids the pilot camouflage the ship while the Sith set off in the direction of the first ground station.

Vincoria follows Occlus, and spreads out her senses. Ideally their stealth has not been breached. Ideally.
