And once again the cousins graviate towards this group.

"Hey," says Thar, smiling a bit tiredly. Seems he didn't get much sleep.

Indeed he didn't, which is part of the conversation they were having before the cousins arrived.

Apparently it's not his fault, though, so Rashel will forgive him.

Ev smiles in greeting.

Krian smiles back.

"What happened?" Kay inquires about the sleep.

"Eh," he says, shrugging. "I went to bed at a reasonable time, I got to sleep at a reasonable time, and I woke up at a reasonable time, but I feel like I slept maybe two hours in the middle."

He blinks a few times, trying to clear his eyes.

"So it's actually not his fault for once. Because he, I don't know, stayed up playing games," she glares, "or maybe reading."

"Yeah, exactly," he responds, still blinking a bit tiredly.

Kay thinks of something that could have kept Thar awake at night, but despite what Krian says, he does knows when not to say this kind of thing. Specially in front of a girl.

"Huh, at least are you caffeinated?"

Rashel wouldn't like it that something isn't being said in front of her just because she's a girl, but in this case, it's actually a good thing that Kay didn't say anything.

She doesn't think Thar is really in the mood.

"Yeah? I had an energy drink—"

Rashel smacks him. "Hey! School hasn't even started yet and you had an energy drink?"

"Yyyeah?" he says tentatively.

Well, that'll earn him another tut. "It's before school. You get that, right?"

"Well— I—" he starts, then seems to actually think about it. "I– Okay, I get your point." 

She rolls her eyes at him and turns back to face the cousins. "Apparently that's a yes, he is caffeinated."

He makes a face. Then makes a face at the fact he made a face.

Eugh.

Ev watches the interaction, slightly amused.

"As long he doesn't make a habit out of it," Krian says diplomatically. "Better than sleep in class."

"It's so cute seeing you looking after Thar," Kay tells Rashel, "it's like me and Krian."

She sighs. "Yeah, but if he stopped being such an idiot, I wouldn't have to so much."

Then she rolls her eyes and smiles. "He's not that bad, really, though."

Eventually, the bell will go. Rashel has literature first, and then after that she has Thuria with Kay.

Ev has math and chem with Krian.

And Thar has lit with Kay and then biology.
