Sadde returns home, sleeps, and then goes to school the following day. He arrives and starts looking for Theo, but runs into—
"Ummmm... I mean, yeah, I think a lot of people don't do bad things because they'd feel bad about it and also fear being punished, vampires tend to report feeling invincible and like the shackles of society no longer bind them, so..." Shrug.
"That is all of course moot because I cannot be allowed to become a vampire, in case I'm wrong."
… And eventually the bell will go to signal the end of lunch. Theo has geography and Sadde has government.
Wonderful.
And then they have gym! Theo goes to gym and gets changed and is ready for whatever sport they're doing this time! (Is it basketball? He's still good at basketball, and is happy for them to play it.)
Okay, so, probably just a little bit sleep deprived. That's fine, then.
… Unless Sadde gives him a meaningful look?
Okay, well, he'll go over to her and say, "Are we sure it's not just sleep deprivation or something?"
"… Okay, so, if this is anything to do with the librarian, how long do you think we have until his face is torn apart? Any idea?"
"Nope, I don't even know what could possibly have done that to the librarian's face, I want to do some magic around it and figure it out."
(And for once the coach doesn't berate her for not playing.)
"Okay, well, what do you need to do the magic? Is it a thing you can do now while he's not looking, or later when the lesson ends, or do you need to go home and do a thing?"
"Go home and do a thing, where 'do a thing' is basically 'figure out what spell I'd need from a book.'"
"Okay," he says, then looks back at the game. "I should… probably get back to playing."
