And then Sadde's back, way cleaner than she has any right to be!

She is! Theo finally stops being frowny and smiles at her.

It is tinged with frown, though. Apparently Theo can smile with a tinge of frown without actually frowning.

"Theo, seriously, I appreciate the concern, but I'm fine, all in all this was a pretty harmless prank and, as usual, I did not react the way he'd expected!"

"Yeah," he says, seeming to agree.

But still tinged with frown. It might be related to the fact that he didn't punch Brad. He's not sure why he's frowny. He just feels frowny right now.

"Come on, let's enjoy the party, even the people who don't talk to me at school will at a party."

"Yeah," he says, again, seeming a bit more smiley this time.

So off they go do party things and interact with people and have fun.

Indeed they do! And Theo tries to stop being so frowny, because that would be probably-weird at a party.

So they'll all have a good time!

And then eventually it is over, and Theo will leave, after saying thanks to Jeb and bye to various other people.

And the same is true of Willow and Sadde.

On Monday, Theo shows up at school as usual.

So does Sadde! They have English together.

They indeed do! And it passes relatively uneventfully.

Then they have biology. Woo.

And after that Theo has math and Sadde geography.

And then it's lunch time!

Indeed it is lunch time! And Theo enters the cafeteria and looks around for Sadde.

Sadde is—

—probably the owner of the hands now covering Theo's eyes and the voice asking, "Guess who."

"Hmm," he says, smiling. "You know, I really have no clue."

"Really? Where are your demonic senses of divination?"

"I have no idea! They didn't come with the demonic welcome letter – maybe they got lost somewhere."

"The demon administrators need to get their stuff together," she says, letting go. "Willow's at the table already," she gestures with her head to indicate. "Let's go grab some food?"

"Yeah," says Theo, following Sadde to fetch some food.

So they wait in line, fetch food, and make their way to the table where Willow's waiting.

And before they can get there a foot that has no right to be where it is appears right in front of Sadde and down she goes, her tray with food going with her in a neat arc. She instinctively uses some magic, causing the arc to be affected in a weird way, but recovers in time to stop doing magic and not make it obvious.

And now both Sadde and her food are on the ground, her plate having shattered into a million pieces, echoing in the sudden silence of the cafeteria.

A silence only broken by the slight snicker coming from Brad, whose foot so casually tripped her. "Should watch where you're going, Woods."
