Mmmm don't like that. Freeze arrows freeze arrows, where did she put her freeze arrows...

There's some places she can duck behind to get out of the line of fire while she digs out her freeze arrows - which does get the Bellowback ambling towards her. 

Haha! Yes, that's right, move out of the safe zone...

And it hits the tripwires!

Then get arrowed!! While she runs to break line of sight behind the next trap!

She can wear it down that way - and it seems really hampered by the frost - a bit at a time, until it's Blaze sac explodes from one lucky shot, staggering it.

Then Aloy does something a little bit risky, because she's tired of plinking away at this thing, and closes in to stab the Bellowback the rest of the way to death with her spear.

She's going to have to get fancy with her dodging to avoid its death throes, but it does die much faster this way. 

Yeah, take that.

Now, let's see about that dataport.

She can indeed find blueprints for the machines made here, which should give her enough information to override them. She can also find a control for having the platform deposit her back to wherever the machines emerge from. 

How convenient.

Aloy's pretty satisfied with this detour, she didn't get hurt too badly and she got some stuff out of it and she had fun!

The lift deposits her at the entrance! Which fortunately hasn't been repopulated with Watchers yet.

Nice! Back on the road.

Her next stop is another Corrupted zone! 

...Which looks much harder than the first two. There's a Corrupted Bellowback, for one. 

Hm. She should pause and restock on ammo.

That'll require more hunting (this place has a higher number of dangerous machines than the southern reaches of the valley) or doubling back to a settlement. 

Aloy's first instinct is still to craft everything herself. Even if she can trade freely now, she's not exactly swimming in metal shards.

Luckily the jagged mountains around here can provide her some high ground. (And, actually, as she skirts around the Corrupted zone - she spots a very good area for laying traps for anything trying to charge her.)

Aha! She loves it when the world works with her.

Takes some clever set up and a lot of experience to exploit, but - yeah, she can work with this. 

And if she can, she will! That's how Aloy does things.

Then she can take down a valley full of Corrupted machines! 

Damn, she's good at this.

The fields of destroyed machines might agree with her there.

She'll see if they have anything clever to say while she scavenges their corpses.
