"We apparently have some of those in our section too. We haven't explored the surface much though, I'm not sure what you'd want to look for."

"It seems like they're all ok, at least for the moment."

"Do you guys want anything else from us? There's a directory of mall stores in the computer as well."

"I think we'll be alright if you have somewhere you wanted to go," says Betty.

Alex pulls a phone out of his pocket. "We haven't quite worked out who has which phone yet but I'll leave this one with you so you can get in touch if you need to."

Ajay takes it from him. "Thank you, that means a lot. It's been hard being cut off from everyone else. I assume they can't call Earth?"

Alex shakes his head. "No, I wish. It would be nice to be able to say goodbye if nothing else."

"Yeah."

Betty tears up a little. "I wish we could."

Ajay closes his eyes and nods. "My parents ... it would be nice to be able to talk to them again."

Emily nods gravely.

"It sucks." says Jade.

"Anyway, I think we should be off, we still have another four complexes to visit."

"Yeah, okay. See you guys later. Call us if anything else comes up."

"We will, thank you."

Back to the elevator.

And back to their home in black.

"So, which next?"

Emily pulls a coin out of her pocket and flips it twice. "Tails Heads means Green."

Alex shrugs.

"I guess that works."

The next lounge as expected has green accents, unlike the previous lounge though it's a mess some of the furniture is broken or stained and there's what looks like blood on the floor. A couple women are cleaning things up. One of them looks up when the elevator door opens. "Hello, did you come from Earth? If so, I have some bad news for you."

Alex snorts. "No, we're from the black section. What happened here?"

"Is everyone ok?"

"Do you guys need some help?"

The Japanese girl sighs. "Everything's still a mess and I'm not sure where the people who left ended up but that weird clinic thing managed to fix everyone who got hurt badly."
