The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
Hug!!
And Minor flies around gleefully and makes faces at the dragons.
Then he gets himself dismissed.
Several friendly ones and still the unfriendly one by the lady with the crochet patterns and terrible blog.
Maybe he will ask someone to help him stop by her house and invisibly sabotage her circle later.
He takes a random one.
Godspring dot! Five year old child! She falls on her butt in startlement when he appears, then giggles.
Giggling a lot, cannot answer. Her mother suggests some items tentatively.
"She has to agree - to, like, those in exchange for something, it can be something trivial - but once she can do that no problem."
"Thank you!" says the mother, and the little girl giggles again and concentrates Real Hard on sending him home.
Minor is not taking chances on grouchy lady.
It takes a while to get a general one, again.
They started working on artificial wombs when they heard daeva can't have babies but those aren't ready yet! In the meantime maybe Minor would like a city tour or to hold a baby or something?
....he giggles. "- that's thoughtful of you guys but artificial wombs might actually not be a very good thing to have in Hell."
"Some people want kids and would use them to have kids. But - some people might just think it was funny to have fragile people around - everyone in Hell is indestructible - and might collect slaves instead of having kids."
"Yeah, I think there's an adoption program in Godspring. It's just destructible people in Hell that would be bad. You wouldn't have kids right now if they would probably just die, right, you'd wait until it was safer..."
"We're not Elves, we don't stop having lives when there's a war on or anything. But you can go somewhere else and have kids there?"
