Different Dwarves! They are conducting a poll about what things demons want so that they can efficiently pay them in the future! Is he willing to fill out this survey? They will try to pay him for his time but to be honest the survey is because they aren't sure how to do that and they may not be prepared with things he finds appealing.

Have they consulted the flat Arda Dwarves who can make magic stuff, if they can learn how that's done it'd be very popular.  Animals that don't die have gone over very well with demons, there're demons who just really like languages and would like being summoned for that, though it only works once per language, if they have live performances of things or exceptionally good tutors or something they could maybe get somewhere with that....

They haven't gotten directly in touch with any Flat Arda dwarves yet but they want to! What would he like for his survey?

Yes he can! They have an exchange set up with those Dwarves and he will now be able to access sixty of the thing wherever he goes with a similar arrangement.

Great! He is sure he'll have a use for them eventually.

"Well, I don't know, I didn't expect anything would happen."

"Where'd you get the light projector -"

"Why d'you want to know?"

"If you were not expecting this to work and you don't know what you're doing you could get hurt, for one thing, and also if it's missing from a dot that could be a problem, and also I am impressed when people are clever and I'm guessing this required some cleverness."

"Not that much."

"Well. Summoning works outside the dots, you're just not supposed to do it at home because of the 'might get hurt' thing."

"Are you going to hurt me?"

"No. I'll make you some stuff and then go home. But that's the reason they're trying to be careful and I don't think they're being too careful."
