The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
He announces a new content warnings policy.
He lights things but not people on fire.
He goes and takes more summonses.
A couple of well meaning people have drawn him up to ask if he is safe at home.
"I'm indestructible. If I go back to school, which I might not, and get caught cheating on my homework again, which I won't, and they flog me for it, which they would, it won't even hurt."
"I thought you could still be hurt, just not seriously injured. And that sounds terrible even if you aren't hurt!"
"I mean, yeah, it is terrible. Hazel needs fixing. But I am personally the safest person from it."
"I know. It might be an acceptable risk to me, that's different from thinking it's morally okay."
"Not everybody here is horrible to demons. You can find somewhere safe."
"You're allowed to grow up safe before you worry about other people."
"I'm also not going back to school any time soon, at least, and at home no one hits me."
"When I was little and hurt one of the house-elves. But that was just the once, and I haven't come out of it confused about whether murder is okay and wouldn't appreciate a debate over whether I did."
