Yeah, that's fine. She'll check and see if Ana's meditating or what, next, and then go see what Raafi's doing if she's busy.

Ana: is practicing magic!

Ooh. The kobold will go hang out while she practices, then.

This time Ana notices when she gets close!

Ana has obviously been working on her awareness; the kobold was trying not to interrupt her. This is good, though, it means there can be snuggles.

"So, what were you working on?"

"Nothing specific, really. Just practicing casting."

Grin, lean. "Yeah, I expect one of you to get your first stable spell soon. It'll be nice to just know, and not have to worry about it."

"Yeah."

Snuggle.

"You've been a big help to Raafi, you know. They don't usually do very well staying on one place very long, even when they want to."

"Well, there's lots of different places in this place."

"Yeah. I'm not going to let them go running around without a guide when I barely know the place, though."

"Well. I'm glad I could help." Hug.

And back to spellcasting.

Spellcasting and snuggling: a good combination.

Half an hour or so before dinner, the kobold makes a twineportal to check Satele's room.

She's still not in.

Yeah, not surprising. She's tempted to make an observation portal to the Council chamber, but, no, that is a bad habit and she shouldn't let herself get into it. She'll go track down Raafi instead, invite him to the cafeteria for dinner.

Ana appears at the appropriate time.

And the kobold and Raafi, both slightly damp. Dinner!

"How was swimming?"

"Nice," says the kobold. "Raafi's been exploring further downstream and found a nice calm stretch."
