"I have no idea whether it'll matter to the cornucopia."

"Me either."

"... But I think I read that before fabricators, sometimes Raverians would sew buildings together.  Out of wood, and instead of using nails.  Because it was still magic.  So, maybe you  - your, uh, biggest part, um - maybe it can get a tattoo."

"It is important that my hull be airtight."

"I agree!"

"Which would contraindicate stabbing it."

"Maybe the inside would work."

"Maybe I do not have a comprehensive understanding of how tattoos work when they can be magic."

"They're embroidery through the skin, like mine.  And - you could say your hull is your skin, but it isn't really, and so to the extent that it can act like it maybe something else can too."

"I guess it would not be particularly bad for my interior walls to be punctured."

Nod.  "Do you want any more soft things to sit on before I start sewing?"

"Sure!"

"How many?"

"Three."

Three fur sit-upons!

She comes to drag them all away, one two three.

It's possible Rubelite is not aware that there is any implication that Beau would rather be alone in the room.

Well.  He'll start sewing in spite of this.  (He has some supplies and an already-started project; he was going to practice on the plane.  It's embroidery of a kraken off a template from a book he picked up the day the mysterious intimidating lady tattooed him.)

Rubelite watches very intently to see if there is magic evident in the process.

Not a stitch of it.

Dang. Well, this doesn't have anything better to do.
