"Uhhh not to be a spoilsport but like on the hypothesis this is at least partially made up hypnosis is still possible? Not that I'm saying you're making it up—"

Jeremy sends him off on a gentle, low lap around the house.  He follows close enough to see Jake around the corners, and catches up at the end.

Could technically still be faked he's probably close enough to convinced now.

It turns out Jake's still kinda pissed off though because that was not, actually, fun.

"It teaches you to make new spells.  You could do the ritual I did to arbitrary numbers of people and possibly become arbitrarily more powerful.  It doesn't really specify.  ...There could be a loophole like the one I noticed and one of the spells I think is fine is actually incredibly dangerous somehow."
