I'm a subtle artist. Which in my original world meant I could learn to be a therapist.

"I don't have any powers aside from being an angel."

"We can teach your our magic. What powers are being an angel?"

"Well, I can fly. And angels don't get sick and we're warm enough even at high altitudes and we're very strong. Is your magic hard to learn?"

Not very, it takes a while but you can make pretty constant meaningful progress.

"We've been at it for two Years and we can teleport between dimensions and fly and go invisible and make a bungalow and stuff."

"That explains how you got here. Were you looking for me?"

We were actually looking for a world with space travel and no gods. This. Doesn't seem to be one.

"We're really sick of gods and want a fallback dimension without anyone who can squish us."

"...if you're accustomed to that being a common problem that makes sense."

"Is it comforting or not that if I lay claim to the personal ability to direct Jovah's wrath -"

I could use less wrath in my life but if somebody has the authority to point it you're better than some random person.

"Well, it's angels in general, actually."

Then yeah that doesn't really help.

What does Jovah's wrath do?

"Lightning bolts. They're not called down often. And he only throws them unbidden under very specific circumstances."

The interdimensional visitors do not look thrilled.

"...that's probably not what you want to hear if you're specifically looking for godless universes. But you can reasonably expect not to be lightning bolted for as long as you're here, anyway."

"Where're the spaceships?"

"I have no idea. I've never heard of a spaceship. Jovah took our ancestors to Samaria from another place, I suppose it's possible that doing so in his cupped hands is a metaphor?"
