"Ours kicked Bella out but I guess getting kicked here wouldn't be too bad and Ambela thinks hers are nicer."

"I wouldn't want to move permanently away from here anyway, there aren't enough angels as it is."

"What are angels needed for?"

"We direct Jovah to adjust the weather and send medicine if there's sickness or seeds if there's crop failure. He hears us better and we travel more easily."

"Maybe the nice Valar'll make you stop dying of being old, then there'd be enough."

"Presumably they'd do the same thing for the mortals and there would need to be more of us to manage more petitions."

"...yeah probably. Why can't Jovah hear mortals?"

"They can't fly. There's some places they can go to be heard well enough, and if we carry them up they can be heard there too, though."

"So you could just give them the flying things the other Arda has."

"That might work, if they weren't enclosed."

"I bet they can make not enclosed ones even if the one we were in was enclosed. Or we can fly, with wizardry."

"Then if you learned the prayers you could get Jovah to adjust the weather for you too."

"Don't want to meet any more gods but you can teach your people magic and then you won't be short angels."

"I'd be inclined to ask an oracle first just in case it turned out to be a bad idea for some reason."

"What do oracles do?"

"They write Jovah messages and get answers. I can wait to ask until you've gone if you prefer."
