I don't think any of me are going to find that a satisfactory explanation, Fëanáro. They were concerned about my effect on the pace and stability of things, I'd introduced magic and they weren't used to things changing that fast.

I wasn't introducing spells intended to hurt people but it could've been. That wasn't the problem though, they could disable specific magic if they didn't like it.
