"The god? I guess if you're from another star you might have another one. The Edori say there's a god for every star."

Velora looks bright and bustling if slightly messy and undeveloped to Bella. The Elves probably have higher standards.

It's ugly and not science fantasy at all but the language is good.

"Isabella!" calls a voice across a crowd. Somebody is waving at Bella.

"You look exactly like a mortal version of her though," says the person, "you'd almost think - no, I'm pretty sure I'd know if she had a secret mortal sister -"

He translates all of this except 'secret' which is a new word.
