"Me and Angie still like being wolves. Is that okay?"

"Mm. You can accept what you are. You will be miserable if you cannot. It was making you without knowing that it would work properly and safely, and then neglecting you so much, and doing it to so many, that was the evil act."

"I think I understand."

"You can ask questions around here, if you have any."

"Do we have a mum somewhere? The twins used to talk about theirs."

"Don't know. We didn't get all of Lionheart's records. You must have a mum somewhere, probably, but there's no telling who or where, at least for now."

"I don't think we know the right questions."

Crow chuckles. "Ain't that the truth. Nobody knows the right questions, it feels like some times."

"Being answered is nice."

"Some things we might not want to answer for various reasons, but everything you've asked so far is okay."

Crow and Soundwave leave with the babies.

Gardener makes another pot of tea, oolong this time.

Angie enjoys it, but Joey prefers the green tea.

She has plenty of kinds of tea. Two is enough for one day, though.

Would they mind helping with some farm chores real quick before the sun sets? It will be bathtime and then bedtime soon after.

Not al all! Although Angie will probably sing "Old McDonald" a lot.

This is both acceptable and amusing. Farm chores for little ones include gathering eggs! The chickens are all really nervous of them... They flap away to keep their distance and make angry clucks.

"I don't think the chickens like us."

"I think you're right. They're quite docile, usually, but you two are a bit wolfy. Maybe if you feed them it will help. If not I'll just have to give you different chores."

"They do smell real nice. Not going to eat them, promise."

"Good. We only eat chickens that have stopped laying eggs."

"Do you get foxes here? We can kill those."

"Oh, they've learned to leave this place alone since the last time my plants nearly choked 'em." She smiles. "Greedy things. But give them a good fright and they'll decide it's easier to find a rat somewhere instead."

"Tell us if they get brave again."

"I certainly will. Wild pigs are a big problem too, but I'm less sure you two can handle them alone. Those things are big and mean."

She lets out a growl that turns into a giggle. "Hey, before bath time, could me and Joey be wolves a little?"
