"I can produce arbitrary quantities of diamond, if it helps." 

"...how do you do that?"

"My natural form is made of it and my healing abilities work on myself and I have a very high pain tolerance." She demonstratively turns her hand into diamond. 

"I suppose yours can be diamond, then."

"They don't have to all be bracelets, either, though it might be harder to check a different accessory as easily. None of you wear glasses."

"What about a pocketwatch? There would be an obvious excuse for checking it." 

"I can make one a pocketwatch."

Lucy fishes around in her pockets for a pocketwatch, then holds it out to him. The casing appears to have been made out of some kind of blue-violet gemstone-like substance. 

"Okay, so a whatever a pocketwatch is for you, my bracelet for mine, something diamond for somebody... does that leave enough variety?"

"It probably wouldn't be odd for Emily and Edie to have matching jewelry. Mine can hide under my hologram. Idarai?"

"How thin can these be? Gloves with decorative plating sewn to the backs would be inconspicuous where I'm from." 

"That's doable."

"Ours shouldn't be too fancy, on account of our having been in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where accessorizing was not the priority. Something practical...wristwatches will do. Relatively plain ones."

"But not actually ugly, because Emily has a vain streak a mile wide." 

"I'll do my best."

"Thanks. We appreciate you. I kinda wanna pat your shoulder but I have no idea how you feel about physical contact."

"It wouldn't be physical contact, my hologram has a force field associated so the illusion doesn't fall apart as soon as someone trips into me."

"That sounds sort of lonely. Unless Chee don't need physical contact the way humans do, which is plausible."

"We don't need physical contact the way humans do. Though it's unfortunate that no protections were offered such that I could bring my dogs."

"Your dogs?"

"Chee are fond of dogs. On our planet we invented them, though I suppose that doesn't mean other people don't have them in some other way, that seeming to be the way of things."

"You... invented... dogs?"

"Genetically engineered the wolves we found, when we landed on Earth."

"You had to genetically engineer them? We have dogs on our planet but I'm pretty sure they're just the normal kind of domesticated." 

"You could probably get similar results that way, though it might take a bit longer."
