Layla perks up. "Micqui's coming home tonight?"

"'Course she is. There's a very yummy dinner being made, after all."

"It'll be the best soup ever."

Micqui's coming home!! Bounce bounce!

She laughs. "Focus on cooking, girls."

"Okay."

Samira's going to focus on making the best soup for Micqui.

Layla will help! But since it's for Micqui, she doesn't mind if Samira makes a lot of the flavor decisions. (Layla has trouble guessing what anyone other than her twin will like.)

She knows just what Micqui likes. She pays attention.

Yeah, Layla bets she does. Samira's a super good sister.

Mmhm.

Soup soup soup.

She keeps an eye on the girls, but doesn't settle in to stare at them - Gleam has other tasks she can do nearby.

Once the soup is at a simmer, she has them set the table, then - "Who wants to go let your mom know dinner's nearly ready?" Then, musingly: "Of course, someone should also go look for Micqui..."

-Hm. This is a hard decision. She wants to do both.

"Mom might know where Micqui is," Layla points out.

Hmmmm. "I want to find her, though," she says, brow crinkled up.

"You can look for Micqui, and I'll get mom, then," Layla concludes.

Nodnod. "Okay."

Shake on it (very important when you agree to something), then, off to find mom!

And Samira will go hunt down Micqui.

Micqui isn't exactly trivially findable, but Samira's a good hunter, and she knows her older sister well.

Which, of course, means she finds Micqui almost immediately, perched on a railing in the observatory at the manse's highest point, facing East. It's not quite dark, yet, but the sun is setting, and a few stars have begun to glint in the eastern sky.

Samira goes up to her to tug on her sleeve.

"We made dinner. It's rabbit soup."

She glances back and down with a smile. "All by yourselves?"

Nod nod nod. "We caught the rabbit, too."

"Oh, wow."

"Wish I'd gotten back in time to see that." She twists around, putting her feet on normal floor and standing.

"There's more rabbits. We could go again."

"Maybe tomorrow. We could have some roasted rabbit for lunch."
