Lean and sigh. 'Luckily we have time for me to recover before we get lunch. Especially if I tuck my body away or someone heals me... Sadly, it's a bit warm out for high collared shirts.'

'I can heal you, if you'd like.'

'I'd like that.'

'I can heal myself, but... I like being healed by others.'

Elesse brings her hands up and starts gently healing the damage to Anakin's throat.

...Oh that's nice. 

Anakin likes things touching her neck in general, and this is - very, very excellent, in a different way from Anathema's usual 'snuggle hug and wave of healing.'

Her eyes flutter closed a bit, breath going soft and even, pressing only a little into Elesse's hands. 

She takes her time about it. Only to be sure that Anakin is fully repaired, of course.

Mmmmmm. Anakin isn't quite blissed out by the time Elesse is satisfied, though she's fairly close. 

'Looks like they're halfway there already,' Ellaita sends to Anathema.

'I am going to be very impressed with their obliviousness if they end up needing our help.'

'Right?'

She leans over - she's detangled a bit from where Anakin and Elesse are falling to notice their mutual adoration, leaving her free to kiss Ellaita. 

'We'll check on them the day after tomorrow.'

'Sounds good.'

Kiss!

They have time to cuddle before it gets to be really lunch time, especially since Lily appears to have outright left the house already. Anathema's fine with using all of it. 

Not as though Elesse has a schedule. Though they do need to make enough time to eat before Anakin's office hours.

Anakin has a good sense of time, at least, and nudges them to get moving after a bit.

Then off they go.

The park is a short walk away, along the broader road at the front of their house. It isn't huge, and seems fairly popular - but it's a spot of green with more shade trees than what are already planted along the roads, some late blooming flowers bursting up in patches. There's a small playground on one end, which is apparently meant for both adults and kids, going by the number of clones from Anathema's line playing on the jungle gym (and going by the construction and scale).

The restaurant Anakin had picked out is along one of the shadier, quieter parts, with a large outdoor patio. The wait staff are friendly (and recognize Anakin), and the menu includes references to some things Elesse recognizes, some of the generic foods most places around here serve, and a lot of dishes that do indeed seem like someone combined several other dishes from cuisines that aren't usually paired (and one dish Elesse has never even heard of).

Time to be experimental! One thing she does not miss about life before her death was the pervasive military rations.

Anakin likes nearly everything they serve, if Elesse wants to each get different meals and then split, to try more of a variety.

An excellent idea.

Anathema adds her order to the pool, so they can get a nice selection. She'll even get whatever spice level Elesse likes, rather than 'the hottest they can make it.'

(The food is all really good, though, if sometimes unusual enough most people's tastes buds get kind of confused about it.)

Boring people, maybe.

This was an excellent idea.

Luckily this area contains very few boring people! It's becoming quite the hot spot for various cuisines. 

Anakin's glad Elesse likes the food, though. 

Ellaita and Anathema have to split off after lunch is over. Elesse and Anakin are admonished to continue enjoying themselves.

She laughs. 

Well, Elesse is welcome to hang out on campus with her if that sounds like 'continuing enjoying themselves' - her office hours also don't take up the entire afternoon usually.
