Only he knows everyone in the group, even.

He deals with it quite well, asking people to hold on a minute and prioritizing the people who sound more worried out of the lot. Tells them what he knows, tries to sound confident and reassuring.

Right but lots of them want tactics not comfort.

He lets them know what he can, what he's worked out with Dayo and what they need to know to not interfere with each other.

Okay that's more reassuring.

[You should eat,] Dayo points out.

Anthony takes a bite of bacon.

[Thanks.]

And then the lady from the previous day appears, grinning.

"Another very good morning, everyone!"

"Good morning," he intones.

"Today's a Sunday so most of you will of course be allowed some rest. The basic chores still need to be done, but today is a good day to relax and destress and spend some time with your family! The teen compound and the adult compound will open to each other at eleven, so you can all hear our Leader's words together!"

Anthony smiles, trying to seem sincere and not vengeful in the slightest.

    "And of course, food today extends until then, you can feel free to grab as much as you'd like! Have a happy Sunday!"

[I think one of the best parts of it all might just be never having to hear this woman's voice again,] Dayo comments as she climbs down the steps.

[I question your use of 'one of',] sighs Anthony.

[Do you have any chores this morning? I'm free.]

[I have dish duty,] she mentally sighs.

[Gotta supervise the kids until eleven.]

[Have fun, I guess.]

[You too.]

So he goes to supervise the kids.

They are very small and very adorable and he tries not to feel too awful just now.

And at 10:42 AM: [Truck's almost here.]

[Arriving in forty minutes, like expected, or has the schedule shifted?]

[Might arrive five minutes earlier.]

[Thanks.]

And at eleven he's free from the little ones and any other chores for another half hour, and the compounds are opened to each other.

[I'm in position to knock Naomi out,] says someone of the nice lady.

[Everything ready to go at eleven thirty-two,] someone else sends.

[You'll be able to hold that?] he asks, of the well-positioned not-assassin, and he sends a nod to the other person.

[Yeah, I'll be around her all day, in theory.]

[Sounds good. Thanks.]

[No prob. It'll work, and by the end of the day we'll be outta here.]
