Adedayo Igwe wakes up and stares at the ceiling.

Because it's a day like any other, he spends no more than five minutes doing that before sitting up and stretching. He scratches his back then swings his legs to the side and stares at the floor for another minute or so. Then he gets up and finds clothes, absolutely ordinarily. They're nice, and very similar to one another. He goes to his bathroom, and he brushes his teeth. He returns to his bedroom and sits on his bed again. He waits there until his alarm tells him it's time for breakfast. He makes it stop chiming, and gets up again. He walks towards his door. He stops before opening it.

He pings Anthony.

[Yeah, I guess,] he sends. [Just—reassurance. Wanted to hear a friendly voice.]

[Yeah.] Pause. [It seems like a few people did.]

[Mm. How's everyone?]

[A few people panicking, to various levels, but they're keeping it together okay on the outside.]

[Are you sure? It... wouldn't be very good if they let it on.]

He takes a deep breath and opens his door, stepping into the hallway.

[I'm checking on them but they so far seem fine.]

little_brother

[Mmhm.]

He walks towards the cafeteria, and some others are going the same way.

[Everything should be ready.]

little_brother

[Mmhm,] he repeats, and gets to the cafeteria. Some of the earlier birds are already there, and Dayo looks around for someone in specific, but fails to find them so just goes to grab some food.

Anthony comes in a few minutes later, seems to notice someone, and goes over to them, smiling.
