"Bet you can't sing magic songs right!"

"Don't know. Haven't tried."

"Majora's grace I call, if you might be kind, on this hu-man bestow, ho-ly fire from above, sent down to help below."

On his fingertip appears a small flame.

"Cool!"

"Soooo? Think you can do a magic song?"

He attempts to copy Nemo, singing in his achingly pretty voice. Nothing happens. 

"Huh."

"Maybe you're singing it the wrong way. I'm not sure, really."

"Maybe."

He attempts it in a few other vocal styles on the way to Gren's grandmother's house. While still somersaulting. 

These produce no result. Nemo decides to stay quietly smug, lest he get called out for being openly smug.

Gren fills the time explaining table manners.

"Grandma cares about them more than most people. She won't be mean if you don't know them but she'll be sad."

They listen intently. Grandparents are still very mysterious creatures to the twins, seeing as their own probably died over a hundred years before their birth.

They're mostly like parents, but older. (And not as strict sometimes.)

"Older" is also kind of weird to the twins.

Well she can't explain that one other than it being kind of scary and sad...

Eventually, they bore of superhuman feats of athleticism and simply walk with the others.

The island is not that big. They're nearly there.

"Hi, grandma! Mom and I brought new friends!"

"Hello, Gren's Grandma!"

"Hello, young ones. I've been hearing stories about you. Grendal is treating you three well, yes?"

"Your granddaughter is super-nice. And brave."

"I just wish she didn't need to be. The world was peaceful when I was young. And poor Sami, stuck up in some dreadful prison..."

"We'll get her back."

"Oh, but we shouldn't be so glum. Life is better when we smile."

"I've heard good things about your soup, Gren's Grandma Ma'am."

"We've never had soup before!"

"Really never? Any kind of soup? Why, soup is one of the most basic and filling meals one can prepare!"

"We only tried cooked food a little while ago. It's great!"
