"So, order of magnitude, how many Kandrona generators are there gonna be, is it in fact tractable to find them all with some combination of Joy and demonic triangulation and destroy them all?"

<Earth was the Yeerks' third-highest priority. I expect between six and ten planets, probably hundreds of generators per planet but probably not thousands.>

"And about how many Pool ships, because demons won't be able find and mass-destroy those?"

<Fewer than thirty, likely fewer than twenty.>

"If they need this specific sort of radiation they must have a way to get it without engineering projects?"

"...yeah, their home planet sun. And any matching suns they found."

"Yep. And we probably don't want to go around destroying suns."

<There is no particular reason to believe desirable suns would overlap with infestable species, it might be that the Yeerks on those worlds are not taking any hosts.>

"I would expect them to be terraforming the places and having hosts that live there even if they're not native, and 'suddenly, no sun' is more of a problem than 'Yeerk has to surrender in the next immediately to three days depending on schedule'."
