"Maybe. It's only designed to work on humanoids, but I don't know if the humanoid target being a morph would screw it up. Should be safe to try."

<They will be embarrassed and will probably for that reason prefer not to make a fuss. Someone might meet with you privately to suggest an extradition agreement, if there is not one in place.>

"But they don't know I know you were in jail."

<The news won't reach them for a little while anyway, and by then I will probably be elsewhere trying to set up institutions for distribution of magic and promotion of competent people.>

"Are they going to want to extradite anybody else? Are the people you and Cam just resurrected going to make themselves known to the homeworld?"

<They might eventually, but none of them should be in much trouble with the homeworld - except my father, and he will not cooperate with being arrested...>

"I mean he can be elsewhere without my obstruction by the time that occurs to them."

"It'd probably be convenient from an interplanetary relations front but I don't otherwise have very strong feelings about it."

<If there were a convenient elsewhere I would preferentially do that, but the galaxy is short on places where he could drop in. I suppose we could send him to one of the other dimensions.>

"The impression I get is that collections of him work pretty well together."

<The other collections of him are all Elves, who presumably want to work indoors and so forth, but it is an option.>

"I assume some sort of mutually agreeable workspace is not an insurmountable problem."

"Still don't have a fix for nothlits or upgrades for people who took earlier morph versions solved. Is Cayaldwin likely to drop those?"

<Cayaldwin is certain to go wherever my father goes. If he said he would do it he still will - assuming his collaboration with people here is not strictly necessary, or that they would also be willing to relocate ->

"He said he was working on it; I don't think I actually have a guarantee of success. His team would probably mostly be willing to move, but not all of them."
