Gorgeous! Very different.

It's so different! I will just have to donate fancy stardarters to the school, it's very sad.

The school will appreciate it. Were you ever going to shoot them anyway?

Aside from in practice? Quite possibly, I do want to see if I can affect swarms in any way and I'll have to get within some maximum distance of them in order to do that. Probably not on anything like a regular basis, though.

I'm sure some girl will appreciate the fancy no-longer-matchy guns.

Oh well.

I really liked the stylist.

He did a nice job! You mean personally?

Yeah! He was focused and professional and despite the fact that he's paid by the hour he not only didn't waste time he--actively anti-wasted it? He was glad that I took pictures of my old outfit before coming so we wouldn't have to waste time with that, he gave me notes on what to try on my own, he was an artist who cared about his work, it was overall an extremely pleasant experience.

Xander wants to see your recording.

She emails Isabella the video file.

Thanks! He's so excited about the chance to see a high end pro at work.

It was pretty great! I'm thinking of going back after a while--I'll want to get more of a handle on what this level of power is like, first, I think, and of course I'm going to do all the homework experiments, but I really think two hours wasn't all I could get out of him.

It sounds like such a long time!

It was a long time but I'm not surprised that magic fashion is the kind of thing that takes time.

I'm lucky my stylist lives in my house.

I imagine it's convenient!

This morning he told me around a mouthful of cereal to try a lettuce hem. Can't buy that spontaneity.

What's a lettuce hem?

Isabella sends a picture of her new skirt hem, which is ruffly like the edge of a lettuce.
Conventionally sewn clothes don't tend to have them this nice.

Pretty. Yes, not having traditional sartorial logistical constraints is a marvelous thing.

I never cared much what I wore before but I love how cozy I can make things and never needing to try stuff on.

Putting on fancy clothes the normal way was never worth the effort but I find now that getting dressed is merely an act of will and I have a social excuse to look marvelous at all times I do enjoy it.

And you're marvelous indeed!

Thank you!

I wish I were more patient.

Why's that?
