Moving. Yet again. Because this ducking stupid—
No. Get yourself under control. You know what happened that time—
Okay. New school. Mmhm. It's alright.
He arrives at the school...
"That sounds like the right answer, good job!"
He reaches under his desk and places a bowl of candy on it.
"This is an incentive. You guys like those, right?"
He tosses a piece to Ade.
Most of them, anyway. Some people are being left out. Spitefully. Pettily. Vindictively.
Jackson eats his lunch, stabbing lots of things with his fork.
...okay now she's torn. She's torn between three courses of action and she's not sure what to do. Hmm.
She walks over to Jackson and, making no movement to take a seat, asks, "Left out today?"
He startles a bit, but flashes a smile in no time.
"No, me and Brian are having a great time, right Brian?"
"Um, yeah, we are. It's nice to not have to listen to Lydia yammer on about the latest fashion trend."
"So what's up? Decided to mingle with the peasants before you went to the round table?"
"More like talk to two pretty boys and see how they're doing before I go wreak havoc with the nobility."
"How soon until you turn this school upside down?"
He waves her off.
"Enjoy the feasting."
In particular, one person seems to be enjoying this turn of events.
