It screams, and then vanishes in a dense, opaque cloud of smoke.

The human is her next target, now that the defender is neutralized.

He's no longer where he was - and he's fast, and fully capable of trailing destruction and bodies behind him, moving towards Konoha even as the anomaly grows ever more and even as the border guards angle in on him.

(There's a familiar hawk in the distance, approaching quickly.)

Probably more suited than her to clean up whatever nonsense is left behind.

She pursues the man, though if the others are on the way, she's open to targets of opportunity.

The anomaly surges, pulses with waves of force flowing out where it'd been attracting things before -

Sasuke appears over the city, an enormous glowing warrior folded around him, mirror shield raised. It deflects a significant part of the attack.

Not all of it. It's a big village. Significant chunks have just been not only flattened but driven into a crater.

Sasuke immediately has to spin around to fend off a series of rockets fired at city center, then explosives from the other direction -

The anomaly-forming person can at least be found by Ellisaria. He doesn't seem to be doing anything right now, but there's a sort of tension in the air around him.

She strafes him, flame pouring out thick and wide.

He's able to dodge the bulk of it, or weakly fend it off.

After a few seconds, a blast of repulsive force slams into her, hard enough to pulverize reinforced concrete.

She's knocked back, wings flailing wildly as she careens towards the ground. Doesn't seem like she'll be able to correct in time to prevent a crash landing.

That's... nngh. That's some broken bones. With any luck, whatever she lands on will be relatively soft-

Some paper breaks her crash landing into the mountainside! It's not very cushion-like, though. Rather stiff.

And then it explodes.

She's more hurt by the additional jostling than the explosion itself. But now that she's on the ground-

-the agility offered by a smaller body is going to do her more good at this point. The pain fades to a dull ache in her side as she dashes off.

Shinobi, unfortunately, are exceptionally agile.

And that sure is a lot of paper arcing over and spinning around her.

(A humanoid, winged figure is only distantly visible in the mess.)

Ellisaria can use chakra to dart around too.

But she is very much done with the paper. The explosions have scraped bare a patch on the mountainside; she rips the earth out and uses it as an ablative shield to cover her advance toward the figure. Since fire has proven largely ineffectual, she begins preparing a lightning spell, sparks crackling around her fingertips. She only needs twenty seconds or so, and uses that time to get in range.

Not all of the paper appears to be attacking her, though it's unclear what exactly it's doing through the shield.

The figure rises a bit, but doesn't flee or otherwise move too far.

Good. A stationary, non-grounded target.

Her spell complete, she casts it. First, a blast of lightning, to shock and stun. It then doubles around on itself, a static cage to bind and paralyze. A thread links her to the cage and down this thread she pours more magic, causing the cage to release bursts of deadly energy, damaging everything in the area.

The figure explodes into a cloud of paper.

There's a spear, lancing swiftly at Ellisaria's back.

Her shield drops down to slow it so she can twist out of the way.

Damned decoys. Is her spell having an effect of the paper, at least?

It's burning some of it.

The paper whirls around her, blocking off her view, except there may be a distant glow, and it's like the air is holding its breath, a feeling of static creeping up -

That's something, anyway. If the attack is working, she can add more power to it. And she'll also pull up more earth, to defend against whatever it is that feels like its approaching.

The ground under her tremors as a not particularly distant explosion rocks the earth.

And then the air around her starts to glow and hum.

That's almost certainly a bad sign-

Very!

The air sort of solidifies, locking her in place, as lines arc in a dome over her and chains burst out of the ground to wrap around her limbs. The paper's disintegrated, revealing a massive seal under her feet.

Fel. She shifts to dragon form, but the chains are still there and her ribs are still broken. She blinks straight ahead, maybe she can get out of the seal.

At the very extreme end of her range -

She's just barely able to get out - but the chains appear to be able to extend out of the seal's original range, and are now trying to drag her back.
