He seems to be.

Good.

He's still fast, but his injuries slow him down just enough that he's vulnerable, and he's now putting most of his energy into trying to retreat.

She declines to give him a chance to.

He'll die, though not without a fight.

The important part is that he does die. This time, she dismembers the corpse before incinerating it.

"Another of the linked bodies had approached the one you downed earlier, and flared his chakra right before it reconstituted. I think it's possible there's some external technique he has rather than the bodies just regenerating; I'm not sure if it's one of the ones that's linked to one specific body, though."

"How convenient for him. I don't suppose you'd know something like a banishment seal?"

"If I knew specifically what I was banishing. Trapping is easier usually."

"If we remove the bodies from the battlefield entirely, they will at least need to work harder to bring them back."

"Taking off with a body sealed in a storage scroll, maybe, and I can make it a pain to open. I'll need to find a large enough scroll..."

"Go find others to assist you. I shall guard this one."

"Right. The nearest of our forces are a bit out, but I'll see if anyone from Konoha's willing to do what I say."

And she's off.

Ellisaria keeps watch. Any threats imminent?

The fight between giants seems like it might spill over at any moment, despite Sasuke's best attempts to keep it contained - and he's not flagging yet, but he's being increasingly cautious with his attacks.

And - 

There's a feeling that washes over the battlefield.

Something old and powerful is very, very angry, and would like everyone around him to die now, or at least bask in fear of his presence.

Reminds her of Deathwing.

Hopefully this thing's on her side.

Based on the way the shinobi around her are on the verge of panic in a way they weren't before, and her opponents seem to also be focusing towards it - 

The answer seems to be "nobody's side."

(Sasuke abandons the fight he's in and turns towards where a red glow is peaking past the buildings, jumping over to it.)

Not as bad as it could possibly be, at least.

Suppose she'd better go investigate too, if everyone else is.

There's a creature, about the size of a horse, body formed of boiling blood, eight tails lashing behind it and a ninth forming, several of Konoha's shinobi speared by black rods before it, one of the shared bodies of her opponents standing across from it, face placid, holding other black rods that he throws at Sasuke when he appears.

Ah, a tailed beast. Sasuke might have done better to not attract attention so, and merely hung back to contain the damage.

Sasuke raises a shield that rather handily blocks the black rods, and turns to face the tailed beast, going briefly very still - 

And then the blood forming the beast's body bursts out, revealing an injured boy around Sasuke's age, his face twisted in anger and grief.

Sasuke then has to spin, to hold off another attack.

The boy gets to his feet, seeming to struggle with something going by his facial expressions, before he falls back from the battle and turns to Ellisaria.

"You're that flying ally of Sasuke's, right? I think - there's a main body controlling the Paths. I think I can sense where it is. Maybe. But - we need to stop him at the source."

"That meshes with what my sensor told me. Come. I am unwilling to shift so close to active combat with the injuries I have already sustained."

"Pein might try to follow me. He's after the Kyuubi. But I think Sasuke's distracting him." He glances at the bodies, expression going a bit sad, before he turns and leaps to the top of the nearest section of rubble.

She jumps as well, moving away from the fight. "You are a jinchuuriki, then. What is the name of your prisoner?"
