"She's playing games again."

"Ahhhhh, the fiend. Come to avenge Zveran? His body lies here somewhere, beaten by his aeon. Perhaps I could raise him for you?"

"He wouldn't want that. He'd want you put down."

Raeli steps forward and rests a hand on the back of Masquerade's shoulder.

"He believed in Spira! In the spiral of death, as does my son. You truly think they'd believe in an end?"

"I think we can end you. I think we can make sure you don't harm anyone ever again."

"Let the summoner decide. You know what she will choose, guardian. Will you let her?"

"Masque! What's wrong?"

"Let her choose."

"It's your choice, Lady Yuna."

"What has you and Aten so frightened?" Yuna stands firm, glaring at them.

Auron also keeps a firm gaze on them.

"-The Final Aeon. I-"

"If you want Lady Yuna to make the choice, you should probably give it to her."

(Masquerade couldn't.)

"I don't like seeing you both so frightened! It makes me scared. I don't want to be scared."

Yuna sounds fierce. 

"I'm not scared, I'm angry." Pause. A glance back to Aten. "And wouldn't you be scared facing a mother who never acted how a mother should?"

That drew Yuna short, and had her breath catching in her throat.

"Yuna, you're so close. What stops you?"

"Nu...nothing. I...nothing. I'm ready."

She pushes open the great doors.

Auron helps.

Masquerade helps as well.

The doors swing open-

-revealing a darkened fayth.

"The Final Aeon! It's...no, no it can't be dead!"

"And this is where you find yourself a choice."

"Where is the Final Aeon, if not here?"
