Edie was perusing the latest correspondence from her fork. She still should have been paying enough attention to realize that the door didn't go where it ought before it swung shut and she couldn't sense anyone else anymore, but she wasn't.
After opening and closing the door a couple times to make sure she hadn't just been abducted somehow, she looks around.
There should be less clothes. He feels awkward about playing with Cam's hair, because evil alt, and then decides that is ridiculous and does it anyway, and neck kisses have no evil alt implications at all.
Cam's hair is like this because he likes it that way! Cam's neck is like this because he's very lucky! It is all lovely and not horrible at all.
Is Maitimo in a good enough mood that Cam should try kneeling at him, because in a sufficiently not-thinking-about-the-evil-alt context that actually sounds hilarious.
He will attempt to not think about the evil alt, because yes, yes, it does.
Cam is totally capable of kneeling. ...He is not capable of doing this without having to suppress laughter, but he can smirk and look up at Maitimo and wag his tail.
This is hilarious and he will get adorably flustered and distracted and stare at the tail quite flushed and giggling hopelessly for several minutes!
It is so satisfying to get Cam to smile! And to make him happy! And to have sex that neither party has been horribly coerced into! And to lie in bed afterwards warm and being wing-snuggled and ask 'are you going to giggle even harder when I am emperor of the multiverse?'
"Emperors of multiverses aren't inherently funny. What's funny is - costless signaling, I guess? But maybe." Mmmmmsnuggles.
"No, no, that can't be, emperors of the mutliverse are not supposed to be adorable. I am very imposing." He rolls over to kiss him.
Kiss! "You can't be adorably imposing? Imposingly adorable? Adored for the manner in which you impose? Impose by means of adorability?"
And sleep, since he does need that occasionally no matter how many blessings he stacks.
And when they wake up there are not yet impatient messages from Edie and Tyelcormo so they can snuggle and talk more.
"Was illegal to touch daeva, back home. I knew the principles of how the indestructibility works but wasn't sure if you'd feel - snuggly -"
"'Course I do. Illegal, really? I guess I can see why someone would do that but not all daeva/summoner sex is horrifying... although it can get frustrating bound and gagged..."
"The story of the booty call summoner! Are you going to get adorably jealous over it."
"Awww." Cam pecks the end of his nose. "This woman summoned me to make her a house, she wanted to be well off the grid, needed it fancy and tricked out and away from everything. I made her house and got a media list for my trouble and then before she dismissed me she looked me up and down and said if she summoned me specifically again it'd be to have sex with me. She did. I showed up. I'm pretty sure she got how-to-have-sex-with-a-demon instructions off the internet or something."
