It's not exactly easy going, but the walking stick helps some, and Jenn is determined to make it. (And to not worry Bina any more.)

Bina catches Jenn the rest of the way up while they walk, including on the most recent dreams.

Jenn is surprisingly calm about the entire thing, and nods at the appropriate junctions.

"...Come to think of it that body Ant found... There's probably more. In the mud."

"Probably yes," Jenn agrees, scanning the mud as though she might be able to spot one poking up through it.

"...Possibly the factory people. That. Would make sense. For the sort of thing this is."

"It does...seem like it might've been an industrial building at some point," Jenn agrees. "...Or several industrial buildings."

"The factory wasn't this big, but - the dream person said something about shadows, overlapping."

Jenn gives a sharp nod. "So... Copies of the same buildings? Something like that?"

"Maybe? I can't see any obvious copies from here, though..."

"Hm. The ground isn't a good vantage point for assessing this."

"Yeah. Don't think we should waste energy climbing something, though, and whoever's investigating might've figured that out already..."

Jenn shoots her a grin. "Ah, you're probably not wrong. Maybe when we've had a chance to rest."

"Yeah. A vantage point might not hurt for navigation, either..."

"A map would also be nice. But that's probably just wishful thinking."

"Unfortunately the people'd who'd most likely have a map are Ira, or the building people, who hopefully will be providing an escape route..."

Jenn nods again. "Well. Let's hope we find the latter before we find the former."

"Yeah. Don't think she'll be too scared of our walking sticks..."

"Probably not. But they're better than no weapon at all."

Serious nod.

And - "Is that plastic?" she asks, pointing at a little blue rectangle. It reads '5-72.'

Jenn leans down to prod at it. "Yeah. Some kind of marker?"

"Looks like it? I don't know if they had blue plastic in the 1910s. Maybe - time stuff? If whoever has instruments that can measure that?"

"Maybe the people at that camp under the hole?"

"Yeah. Might - I don't know. Those body bags were government issue. This'd be the kind of thing that gets their attention..."

Jenn hums her agreement as she starts moving agan. "This would get most people's attention. But the government would probably want to keep it quiet."
