Well, she'll order her a strawberry milkshake regardless.

She heads on over to the counter and does so.

A Damon appears.

"You're just embarrassing them now."

"...I haven't been too bad. Lydia is doing well."

"She is at that. Pretty little thing. Eager too."

"So what, you're here to spy on her or something?"

"Or something."

Lydia proceeds to prove her dominance at bowling. Again.

"I'm not inviting you to join. Jackson is here, I don't know how that will work out."

"Jacksons the boyfriend, I assume."

"Or something. What you can do is pay for our food. It's the least you can do for scaring the shit out of my boyfriend and being a creep at my new friend."

"Is she the one you want to turn?"

"No. I'm pretty sure if I turned her, she'd be a threat to my Alpha-ness."

Matt looks over at the counter.

Matt looks away from the counter.

Damon notices this and laughs.

"Yeah, you're a dick. Would you lay off him, I really like him."

"If you're so desperate for attention that you'd settle for just anyone, I know someone that would be better."

"I'm not going to date Enzo, Damon. Just. Leave, will you?"

"You're not going to introduce me to the rest of your friends? I'm hurt."

She picks up all their orders, leaving Damon to pay for it, and balences them all expertly over to their table. She ignores him.

"Thanks, Juliet!"

They enjoy some food and the game.

"This is delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect, some guys aren't as good at cooking as they think they are."

"I've worked on it, worked at a couple of restaurants when I was in college. But I do really enjoy it, so that helps. And I used to cook for everyone when this place was actually functioning as a Boarding House too."

"Raf told me some interesting stories. The Salvatores and the Hales. It was the subject of a lot of gossip."

"We're a small town, not much else to do but gossip. Anything particularly interesting?"

"Not really. There were a lot of rumors about why you changed so much in your senior year. Apparently there was one going around that you had an identical twin you'd been hiding in your basement."
