She'll give him a kiss on the cheek anyway and then looks to Jackson.

"So apparently you and Stiles are nemeses, so he's not coming. But otherwise it's a date."

"Even better. It's a date."

"It's my first time bowling, but do be prepared to be dominated. I have many talents."

"We're looking forward to it."

"Would you like to come over to my house beforehand? You can tell me what is and isn't appropriate bowling attire."

"I'd love to."

"We were going to leave at 6:30, so come over anytime before then."

"Sounds good to me!"

After lunch, they go their separate ways.

Later that night, Lydia arrives at the Boarding House.

It's a little creepy, but that's how old houses usually are. Besides, she's been here before. It's not a dark alley or a precarious ledge.

Breathe, Lydia.

A tall man opens the door before she has the chance to knock.

"I didn't order any take out."

"I come bearing fashion sense, the better to dress her with. I should have brought my red cloak, if you're that thirsty."

"Remember that for next time."

He steps back, welcoming her inside.

"Though I'm sure my darling cousin would be upset if I ate you all up."

"Restrain yourself to just a taste, then. I'm sure I'm not going to test your self-control."

She steps past him, looking around. It's not really any less creepy on the inside, but it's more tastefully decorated.

"Should I just head on upstairs?"

"And leave me all on my lonesome?"

"Juliet probably wouldn't want me to get distracted. Girls like me shouldn't stray from the path."

"Life on the path is safer, but has dangers of it's own. At least I can make it enjoyable."

Stefan walks into the foyer.

"Damon. Juliet is waiting for her friend."

"We can pick this up some other time?"

"So friendly. I should come home more often."

"I'll show you to Juliet's room."

With a small wave, she follows Stefan.

"I'm Stefan, Juliet's cousin. You're Lydia?"

"It's a pleasure to meet you. The Salvatores must have good genes."

"That's the families pride and joy, good genes."

"How very Victorian. How recently are you from Italy? Were you all born here?"
