"Maybe I should try that. Too bad I don't have a brother. How're you enjoying being alone in the universe, by the way?"

"I'm not."

"How are you dealing?"

"I'm not."

He resets the pieces.

"I thought we could use a fresh start," he explains.

Felix doesn't even bother with being suspicious.

"Was this supposed to be meaningful?"

"I mean, I'm not opposed to a metaphorical fresh start. I think I could use one of those too."

"I suppose it is a good time as any, but not knowing you that well, I don't know how to advise you further. Would Scott and Stiles be part of this fresh start?"

"They don't want to be, and I can handle being alone just fine." 

"Why do you say that?"

"It's true. Scott abandoned me the minute he realized what happened." 

"I assume he was at least in a bit of a shock and likely very confused by the whole deal."

"He can feel however he wants, but he doesn't want me around, so I won't be."

Felix thinks about his next move for a moment.

"Are you sure he won't change his mind later? Or that isn't the terms you are thinking of the situation?"

"He won't miss me. He might regret scaring me off, but he won't want me back."

Felix sighs. "You... remind me of my ex. Uncannily so, he was also a dream created person with a twin, you two even look similar." Chess. "Don't you think it would be better to... try having something with them?"

"It could be worth it, but it's a lot of work for something none of us want right now. I have friends here, sort of. It doesn't have to be that lonely." 

"Maybe not, but you don't have to cut off bridges so soon."

"I think you're underestimating how hard it's going to be to talk to them, but alright. I'd rather just talk to you."

Felix thinks than moves a piece. "You can talk to me any time you want, then. Does this resolution applies to everyone?"

"If the Sheriff wants to talk to me, he can. If Mrs. McCall wants to, she can. Scott and Stiles, no, and there's not anyone else I want to talk to."

"Scott because you feel he abandoned you and Stiles because he is...?" Felix is at loss for words.

"We're not talking about Stiles anymore."

Angry chess move.

Very well. Unemoitonal chess move. "Any particular reason you want to talk to me?"

"No baggage, or at least, not between us. I have baggage, you have baggage, but we can check it at the door, you know? Whatever issues we've got, we can just talk about them. Or play chess."

"That is the most sensible thing I've heard since coming to this dimension."

Chess continues. 

"I hope they haven't been too bad. I know they can be a bit...thoughtless."
