"Good afternoon, loves."

"Hi!" says Theo. "Is it okay if we do some demon testing stuff with you around?"

Eva walks in too.

"Demon testing stuff?"

"Well, I'm half-demon-or-whatever, and we poked at it with the hair-dye thing and apparently I can slowly throw off a memory erasing spell, so I was thinking of testing a few other things, maybe involving magic, and it would probably be helpful if you were there in case something goes horrifyingly wrong?"

"Ah. Very well."

"Did you tell your family?" Sadde asks Eva.

"Yeah," says Eva. "Mom says she'll be careful and very crucifixed around strangers and she'll try not to go near any dark alleys at night, Dad says he'll– I dunno." She looks down. "Something something can take care of himself something crucifix and stake if he must."

"Did you demonstrate your Slayerness?"

"Yep. Probably part of the reason he didn't assume I was joking."

"Makes sense, I suppose."

"So, let's go?"

"Unless anyone has objections, do let's."

"Do you have any ways to cause a small bit of damage with magic?" asks Theo of Sadde and-or Willow. "Might be useful to see if I heal from that quicker than regular stuff or something."

"...I suppose I could try something."

He waits patiently.

"W-what kind of damage, though?"

"Can you do small amounts of cutting damage? Like, a small slash or something?"

"Umm... no, not really. I can, um, do burns. Or, or concussive blasts."

"How bad are the burns? And are the concussive blasts magically concussing or do you just mean, like, blunt-force trauma?"
