The following day there is: school!
Sadde and Willow are already there, sitting on a bench chatting.
"Oh, of course, dearie." Norma corrects a bit of Eva's posture then leads Willow back inside.
Eva takes the corrections, makes sure to keep aware of them, and can try again!
And Norma returns to watch her do that and give her new instructions. She finds her instincts very pliable to more instruction and alteration.
Ooh.
She thought she was pretty good at this before, but now it's… very ooh. She will pull at them and reshape them and alter and improve them a lot.
Not that pliable. Still needs instruction and direction and conscious command and more than everything time and practice. Still, Norma is glad Eva seems to enjoy it.
She'll do it a lot over the long term. Hopefully.
Time and practice, though, she can do that.
Theo continues to provide moral support or whatever, not having much else to do.
He's on his phone playing games a bit, too. Paying attention when there's a thing that might be useful for self-defence for him… which might actually be most of it.
"Yeah," she says. "I probably should."
She doesn't look like she much looks forward to that conversation.
School the next day happens as usual! Except until lunch, when Theo suggests that they get together after school and try to continue testing his demonhood.
Sounds fun! Should they do it with Norma around or should we leave her and Eva to the Slayering...?
