Snuggles!
And then it really doesn't take long for Revan to fall asleep. Zzz.
The next morning, Revan gets to settling in.. Here's the quartermaster. No, they don't sell Jedi robes in black, but he can talk them into dark brown if he's willing to wait for a little while. Here's the cafeteria. Yes, the food is better than whatever gunk came out of the stolen Imperial ship's synthesizer, and they will provide a modest dessert at dinner if you ask nicely. Here is the training room, here are the archives, here is a person you can talk to about repairing HK-47 - and on, and on. Everything Revan needs to live peacefully on Tython, and nothing immediately on fire. He keeps expecting something to explode, and a battalion of Sith to show up, but nothing explodes and no one comes to conquer the planet. So Revan settles in, and gets to training out the clumsiness in his limbs and works on building a system that will emulate HK-47's previous systems. It'll take a while, for both, but Revan's got time. And when he's exhausted from trying to recover from three hundred years of not moving, he's got Ana, who is perfectly amenable to being snuggled. And, well, other things, as demonstrated, which are all quite lovely themselves, if not recommended when Revan's exhausted.
Revan - doesn't really fit in at the temple, he sticks out like a sore thumb, even in proper Jedi robes. But the surroundings are something like familiar to him, anyway. The Jedi of the time are a bit different than the ones he's used to, but they're still Jedi, and this is a school. He's been to one of these before. Even if the philosophy's a bit different, teenagers are teenagers, even teenagers that are training to be guardians of the galaxy. And quite frankly, Revan put up with both Carth and Bastila. In close quarters. For months. With Carth's compartmentalized trauma and latent anger issues on one side, and Bastila's insecurity fueled lectures about the dangers of the dark side on the other... Revan felt like a bit of an emotional punching bag. Or the ship therapist, but without pay or time off. However moody and dramatic teenagers might get, they really don't compare.
Besides, Revan's in an interesting position, socially. He's not a Jedi, but half the Jedi in the temple speak to and about him with reverence. Without very much effort, he could be an Important Person To Listen To, or, he could just - be a friend. Who has seen both sides to a lot of issues first hand, and is perfectly happy to lend a shoulder if it's needed. Some of the teachers try to be approachable, but a lot of students have trouble talking about their fears and insecurities with someone they feel is perfect, and don't want to let down. Talking about their fears and insecurities with the guy who became a Sith Lord and tried to take over the galaxy? Yeah, he won't judge.
He's not quite sure how it happens, but somewhere between the HK repairs and the exercise and the research on all the things he's missed and the impromptu therapy and occasional lessons on how to use a lightsaber or how to lift a rock with the Force or how to handle being so angry you can't think straight, Revan finds - peace. Of a sorts. A purpose, more like, one that he likes and can do forever and a nice place to do it in. They'll doubtlessly be a crisis eventually that he'll need to take care of, but for now?
He can just be happy he found a home.
