He's more elaborate with the sketch. Tries a few techniques for aiming the drippings that descend from the arc so they hit the right spots.

They refine plans for evacuating if destroying Melkor destroys other things. 

"Think I've got it," Cor says, when he's been working on dripping-blood-themed art for a couple weeks.
