Depends what your other priorities are. He might have landed away from the point and stumble on a working ritual - there are a few that work, in different languages - and be able to get here, but it'd take him a while.

They finish it by the end of the month. It's built aesthetically around Sauron's fondness for illusions, blood-patterned Sauron-identifying artwork and soot to soak up the blood.  They don't use it. There are no signs of trouble.
