The bell rings.
For someone with so much free time he feels like he is always late to things. The school map isn't really that useful, so he asks someone.
"Hi? I am looking for Ms. Smith's class?"
"I was going to take a look at extra-curricular activities," he tells Dayo. "Are you in any?"
"Track, although being as tall as you are probably counts as cheating."
Snort. "Cheating is what losers call an advantage they didn't have. At any rate, I generally prefer practicing sports on my own."
"I am not really into interactive sports. Generally, running or swimming, mostly stuff that I could do on my own when I suddenly have free time in my hands."
"We are just talking," he tells Jessica.
"Believe it or not, we are," she confirms. "Track's only competitive, not cooperative, so you could do that. Or something other than sports I guess."
He thinks - it looks like an oddly weighted decision. "You know what? There is no harm in trying out for the track team."
"—well, tryouts were two weeks ago but I guess you talk to the team captain?"
"Great! I probably should take a look at the other various clubs as well."
