"I sort of want to ask questions about the whole immortality thing but I don't think I know enough about how your magic works to even start."

"Mm...I don't know to what extent it makes sense to ask if the--prosthetic soul bit and the self-resurrecting bit are distinct, and if so which one's--harder."

"There wasn't a clear distinction when I built them. I'm starting to think the next version is going to look really different, though."

"If people here don't have souls it would be really nice if that could get fixed."

"...I don't know how I'd do that without - once I've got immortality figured out I can do it one at a time for anybody I want, but if I tried to do that for the entire world I'd go crazy - I could figure out how to duplicate the fountains and that seems like it'd help even if it doesn't solve the problem?"

"Yeah...maybe something from one of the planes I'm more familiar with will have a solution."

She retrieves one of the spellbooks she's doing cryptography on.

He cuddles her and nibbles food and thinks about spell design.

They can snuggle and work on magic at the same time, it's so great.
